Privacy
Last reviewed:
TaxKiln Canada does not collect your personal information. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics scripts, no email capture, no user accounts, no session recording. The site is free to read, and you are not the product.
What we don't do
- No cookies (no cookie consent banner needed). - No tracking pixels or analytics scripts. - No email capture, newsletter, or mailing list. - No login or user accounts. - No session recording.
What we do
- Our prerender layer serves cached HTML to search engine and AI bots — this involves bot user-agent detection, not personal data. - Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to our servers. - Province selection is stored in your browser's localStorage for convenience — we never see it.
Applicable Canadian legislation
TaxKiln Canada respects the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), provincial privacy legislation including Québec's Law 25, Alberta's PIPA, and British Columbia's PIPA, and the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Since we collect no personal information, our compliance is straightforward: we don't have your data because we don't want it.
Verify it yourself
